Buckle up, farmer, there's a storm brewing on the horizon.

Today, Techland Publishing and developer Ice Flames launched Pure Farming 2018 for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. Farming simulators are sleeper hit games — low profile, but somehow widely popular.

Aside from releasing a launch trailer, the companies discussed Pure Farming 2018's post-launch support. Players can look forward to the following content in the coming months.

  • Seven new add-ons which bring new vehicles to the game.
  • Gameplay improvements based on community feedback.
  • Updates to the modding tools on PC.
  • Support for racing wheels and other peripherals.
  • A lot of free content which doesn't require any additional purchase.

Lukasz Abramczuk, the Producer at Techland Publishing, issued the following statement alongside Pure Farming 2018's release.

We listened closely to the farm simulator community, so we understand their expectations. That's why we're bringing a fleet of fully licensed machines from such industry leaders as Zetor, JCB, Great Plains, and many others. We've designed unique farms located in the USA, Japan, Italy, Colombia and Germany, and introduced various crops specific for these regions. Thanks to three distinct game modes, we believe we've created a game that is very accessible to newcomers and at the same time satisfying for hardcore gamers who know their way around a virtual farm.

Hopefully fans of the genre will enjoy the game now that it's available. Are you into farming simulators? Have you tried Pure Farming 2018? Let us know.
