'Inside Xbox' will bring a monthly dose of gaming news from Microsoft

Microsoft has announced Inside Xbox, a new monthly news show all about what's going on in the Xbox universe.

Microsoft is gearing up to launch a new monthly news show for Xbox gamers. Called Inside Xbox, the show will include news, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content with each episode, Microsoft says. Inside Xbox will also serve as a platform to show off new console features and prize giveaways.

From Microsoft:

Inside Xbox is many things. A premier live news broadcast that will highlight breaking announcements and a peek behind the curtain of Team Xbox. A glimpse at the mysteries of game design and a celebration of some of the month's most exciting games and features. Most of all, it's an opportunity for us to celebrate and listen to you, the community. All of this will be available streaming in 4K/UHD on supported services and platforms.

The show will be hosted by Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, Graeme Boyd, Jeff Rubenstein, Alex Hebert, and Lydia Ellery. The inaugural episode, which premieres March 10, will feature interviews with the developers at Rare, including plenty of discussion centering on Sea of Thieves ahead of its March 20 release. Microsoft is also promising some Xbox Game Pass news, a look at new console features, and much more.

If Inside Xbox sounds familiar, it was originally the name of a video series that ran during the Xbox 360's lifecycle. The original Inside Xbox was canceled in 2012.

If you're eager to tune in, you can check out the first episode of Inside Xbox on March 10 starting at 12 p.m. PST / 3 p.m. EST (find your local time here). The show will be available to stream on Mixer, YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.
