Now Xbox One and PC players can explore Bohemia and slice their way to glory.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a medieval role-playing game (RPG) which launched today on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. Contrary to its open nature, the game is story-driven and immerses you in an adventure in the Holy Roman Empire. You get to explore majestic castles, deep forests, thriving villages, and countless other real-life places in medieval Bohemia.
Set in 1403, you play as Henry, a humble blacksmith's son, who winds up in not-so-humble circumstances. The game starts off in a fairly benign way, where you resolve village disputes, learn your father's craft, and play real dice games from the time period. The opening is quite deceptive because Henry's simple life is disrupted in a severe way and the adventure begins from there. You will eventually find yourself taking part in large scale battles, and helping solve a political crisis that threatens all of Bohemia.
The game begins rather tragically because you have to avenge your parents' death. While that may be the main quest, there are much larger forces at play. The game features tense battles, game-changing quests, and the ability to dramatically impact the world by making certain choices.
Be sure to check out the game on Xbox One and PC if you enjoy such experiences. The title also runs at 1440p on Xbox One X.
