Every week or so, Microsoft adds more games to the Xbox One backward compatible library.
Today, Larry Hryb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, announced that Xbox 360 games Mafia II and Prey are now backward compatible. Both games are two of the heavy-hitters fans have been requesting for months now.

Mafia II
Mafia II is a third-person shooter that provides a look into the dark and unforgiving world of the mob. Expanding on the original hit, this new incarnation takes players even deeper into the mafia with a mature and exciting experience that allows players to explore the world as they wish and immerses them in it like never before. The game is supposed to be a complete gangster movie experience, with a wide variety of combat — including vehicular — and much more.

Prey
In Prey, gamers enter an unpredictable world where nothing can be taken for granted. You step into the shoes of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck on a reservation, going nowhere. When an otherworldly crisis awakens spiritual powers from his long-forgotten birthright, he and his girlfriend are abducted by aliens who need him to save the planet.

Be sure to check out these games on Xbox One if you're looking for a break between new experiences like Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Even to this day Mafia II and Prey remain quite enjoyable.
