Upcoming free play days will give gamers on all platforms a chance to check out what Rainbow Six Siege is all about.
Rainbow Six Siege is no stranger to free play weekends, and players will get another chance to dive in next weekend. Starting on February 15, everyone on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 will be able to play Rainbow Six Siege for free through February 20.
During the free play weekend, all of the content included in the Standard Edition will be available to play, allowing you to check out the various maps and modes and progress toward unlocking the available operators. As is typical with these events, your progress will also carry over if you decide to buy the game after the free weekend is over.
Rainbow Six Siege has enjoyed a pretty long life, and the game is entering its third year of support with new DLC content on the horizon. Staring soon, Rainbow Six Siege players will be able to take part in a new zombie event called "Mission Outbreak." The event is part of a larger shift in tone stemming from "Operation Chimera," the game's ninth major content drop, which is set to be fully revealed later in February.
Ubisoft didn't enjoy the smoothest of launches with Rainbow Six Siege in 2015, but it has since grown to become a pretty big success.
