First launching on consoles in 2008, Battlefield Bad Company includes the same first-person shooter action for which the franchise has become known. In contrast to other entries in the series, however, Bad Company puts the focus on a single-player campaign chocked full of humor. From the game's description:
Battlefield: Bad Company follows a wayward band of ordinary soldiers who decide that sometimes the gratitude of a nation just isn't enough. Featuring a dramatic storyline loaded with a unique attitude, the game delivers the series' trademark sandbox gameplay in a universe where almost everything is destructible.
As with other EA Access games, Battlefield Bad Company will be free to play in its entirety so long as you remain subscribed to the service. EA Access is also packed with a number of other EA games, ranging from titles ranging from Unravel to Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect: Andromeda. The subscription service also packs other perks, like early access demos for new games and a perennial discount on EA games on the Microsoft Store.
To get started, you can subscribe to EA Access for $4.99 per month at Microsoft.
