TheHunter: Call of the Wild has an interesting history when it comes to Xbox One.
Initially, the developer stated that the game wouldn't receive Xbox One X support and it would run at 900p on the console. Shockingly, they said that they would only upgrade the experience for PlayStation 4 Pro and bump it up to 1260p. This caused a lot of community outrage and a few days later the developer issued a statement saying that the game would receive an Xbox One X patch.
You will be able to play it on XboxOneX on 900p at 30 fps.

It's unclear if their decision to develop an Xbox One X patch was in response to the outrage or if they failed to communicate their plans to begin with. Either way, today theHunter: Call of the Wild's Facebook page posted patch notes and other details about the Xbox One X upgrade. It's now available on Xbox One X so anyone can download it.
The game runs at 1620p on Xbox One X compared to just 1260p on PlayStation 4 Pro. This means that theHunter: Call of the Wild should look clearer on a 4K display when using an Xbox One X. Despite the controversy, it's great to see developers taking advantage of the added 1.8 teraflops on Microsoft's machine to push higher resolutions and effects.
TheHunter: Call of the Wild aims to offer an immersive hunting experience. Step into a beautiful open world teeming with life, from majestic deer and awe-inspiring bison, down to the countless birds, critters and insects of the wilderness. In addition to a single-player experience, the game offers unique multiplayer options – co-op and competitive – for up to eight players.
