Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones really stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week, starting November 6, 2017.
While the week is also packed with the release of smaller games like 911 Operator, Hand of Fate 2 and Wuppo, "AAA" titles like Need for Speed Payback and Sonic Forces are generating the most hype. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, from November 6, 2017 to November 10, 2017.
Sonic Forces
In Sonic Forces, the evil Dr. Eggman has conquered much of the world with help from a powerful and mysterious new villain. Now, you must assist Sonic and build an army to reclaim the world as they fight against chaos and destruction. You can play as Modern Sonic or race across challenging platforming levels as Classic Sonic. One of the most unique features of this game is the ability to create your own hero. The game will be Xbox One X Enhanced.
Sonic Forces launches on November 7, 2017, starting at $39.99 for the standard version.
Need for Speed Payback
Need for Speed is back again. This time you drive straight into the action with instant access to a handful of uniquely customized and tuned iconic cars. The game is set in Fortune Valley where you and your team go up against The House. The House is a dangerous cartel that rules the area's casinos, criminals and officers. The missions are structured around a Fast and Furious-like concept so expect a lot of heists and action along the way. This game is also Xbox One X Enhanced.
Need for Speed Payback launches on November 7, 2017 if you purchase the Deluxe Edition and November 10, 2017 if you purchase the Standard Edition. The pricing starts from $59.99 but EA Access members receive a discount on the digital version through the Xbox Store.

It's up to Lucky, a cute little fox who wants to be a hero, to save the day. Just like any platformer, you need to run, jump, spin and burrow your way across a wide variety of environments including deserts, castles, forests and much more. The game runs at native 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox One X.
Super Lucky's Tale launches on November 7, 2017, priced at $29.99.
Skyforge
Skyforge is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), in which players take on the role of an immortal being who has to defend their land from invading gods and other devastating beings. Without giving too much away, the invaders aren't really gods, they're just creatures that possess advanced technology. The ultimate goal in Skyforge is to become a god yourself, but the journey to get there is filled with peril and hardship.
Skyforge launches on November 10, 2017, starting $14.99 for the standard version which gives you early access to the game before it becomes free-to-play later.
