Today EA officially revealed the long-awaited UFC 3 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial arts organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Individuals fight each other for the top spot and it's brutal and entertaining at the same time. UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, the only UFC athlete to hold UFC titles in two weight classes simultaneously, is the game's cover athlete.
UFC 3 has always featured the most prominent stars of the sport and today McGregor joins that exclusive club. Speaking about the game and the cover, Conor McGregor said, "Two belts, two covers – EA Sport got it right again... It's an honor to be on the cover and I can't wait to play the game."
UFC 3 contains a new career mode now which means that players' choices outside of the world-famous Octagon ring matter just as much as their performance inside it. Taking a page from management simulators, this updated mode allows you to promote upcoming fights and create rivalries. There are a lot of other choices in the game which will affect your fighter's standing.
There are other innovations in the title as well. UFC 3's Creative Director Brian Hayes added the following.
UFC 3 and Real Player Motion Tech mark a new generation of gameplay in EA Sports games. The new animation technology has allowed us to take a massive leap forward in motion and responsiveness. The result is a complete overhaul to gameplay where every move is more strategic and looks more authentic and beautiful.
UFC 3 will be available worldwide on February 2, 2018 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You can digitally preorder the game today on the Microsoft Store. EA Access members receive a 10 percent discount as well.
