Attack on Titan 2 game finally has a release window for Xbox One and PC

Today, Koei Tecmo hosted a livestream from Japan in which they revealed more details about Attack on Titan 2, also known as A.O.T. 2, the sequel to 2016's popular action game.

Attack on Titan 2 is based on the popular anime by the same name which follows a group of youngsters as they fight gigantic human-eating beings. What's the mystery behind the creatures? You discover all of this in the games.

A.O.T. 2 follows closely to the anime. Soon, you'll delve deeper into the series' narrative by experiencing the thrilling events of the show's second season. Along with versatile action gameplay, all new challenges, and a wide selection of playable characters from Attack on Titan, including some new faces from the second season!

Now, onto the news. A.O.T. 2 finally has a release window and it's quite soon. According to the publisher, the game will launch in March 2018 on Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. However, that's not all that they revealed. Koei Tecmo confirmed that Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Levi, Miche Zacharias, Nanaba, Gelgar, Ymir and Christa Lenz will be playable characters! If you follow the anime, you'll definitely appreciate this news.

Building upon the first game, A.O.T. 2 will feature enhanced Titan movements and attacks. However, this new system requires more precise maneuvers. Outside of the battles, players can also strengthen relationships with character in the game by training together and preparing for battle. According to the publisher, strengthening relationships is an important element of A.O.T. 2. This is an important way to learn about the characters and get a greater sense of the world these people live in.

Attack on Titan is a great show so be sure to check it out if you like complex plots and lots of twists and turns. Additionally, be sure to check out the first game if you haven't played it yet. The game costs around $33 on Amazon right now for Xbox One.
