Battlefield Bad Company

Another game has hit the Xbox One backward compatible list, this time from the Battlefield series.

The list of backward compatible games on Xbox One has grown by one today with the addition of Battlefield: Bad Company. If you already own the Xbox 360 title, you should now be able to install it and start playing on your Xbox One.

Battlefield: Bad Company was originally released for consoles in 2008, and it packs the same first-person shooter combat that the franchise has become known for. Where previous entries in the series had focused on major multiplayer battles, however, Bad Company packed a full single-player campaign with a dose of humor.

Battlefield: Bad Company follows a wayward band of ordinary soldiers who decide that sometimes the gratitude of a nation just isn't enough. Featuring a dramatic storyline loaded with a unique attitude, the game delivers the series' trademark sandbox gameplay in a universe where almost everything is destructible.

The game was also the first to be built on EA DICE's Frostbite engine.

Battlefield: Bad Company joins its sequel, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3 on the backward compatible list, and it is available through the Xbox Store for $14.99. However, if the game is already in your library, you can start playing it right away. And for more entries in the backward compatible catalog, be sure to check out our comprehensive list of titles.
