Preorders for Microsoft's next gaming console, the Xbox One X, will be announced this Sunday.

Earlier this year at E3 2017, Microsoft officially unveiled the latest evolution in its line of gaming consoles, with the Xbox One X. Standing out as the most powerful console on its way to market, the flagship device delivers major leaps in both graphical fidelity and performance.

However, despite both its price point and release date being announced at the time, eager gamers weren't able to secure a console ahead of launch. Awaiting approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), a U.S. government-owned agency which regulates devices and digital communications, Microsoft couldn't take preorders for the device back in June. Now, after being officially approved by the FCC, the Xbox One X is almost ready to be pre-ordered. Microsoft will announce pre-order dates officially at Gamescom 2017, this Sunday.

The news comes from Amazon, who sent out emails to customers who registered their interest in the Xbox One X. Thanks for the tip Mark.

Where to preorder Microsoft's Xbox One X

Xbox One X consoles will start at $499 in the U.S., with UK and European pricing set at £449 and €499 respectively. All consoles should ship later this year, with a release date currently set for November 7, 2017. These links are where you'll be able to find the console pre-orders once the date is formerly announced.
