A few days ago, Xbox One owners were shocked when Hello Games announced that No Man's Sky was coming to the system with Xbox One X support over the summer. However, no further details were provided regarding preorder information and price. Luckily, that changed today.
No Man's Sky for Xbox One is now available for preorder on Amazon. It features 4K and HDR support on Xbox One X. The physical release is being distributed by 505 Games and costs $49.99. The placeholder release date of July 31, 2018 doesn't represent the actual date the game will be available on Microsoft's system.
The game was previously only available on PC and PlayStation 4. Since Sony published No Man's Sky on its system, it was unclear if the title would come to any other console.
No Man's Sky is a science fiction adventure set across an infinite universe, in which every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. In this procedurally-generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other player has seen before. However, a mystery lies at the center of the galaxy, an irresistible pulse that draws you on a voyage to discover the true nature of the universe.
According to the developer, your journey will be charged with danger, encountering hostile creatures and fierce pirates. In order to survive, you will need to prepare, upgrading your ship, suit and weapons. Whether you choose to fight, trade or explore has consequences, shaping your journey as you travel.
