Hellblade is a dark action-adventure title developed independently by Ninja Theory. The title won praise for its cinematic presentation and compelling narrative, despite being built by a relatively small team. Now, it's on its way to Xbox.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, previously a PC and PlayStation 4-only title is now coming to Xbox One, according to this recent Microsoft Store listing. The listing puts the date at April 11, 2018, and has since been officially confirmed on Twitter.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is an award-winning indie game from Ninja Theory, known primarily for building the DmC: Devil May Cry reboot. The British studio developed Hellblade independently, winning praise for its cinematic presentation and compelling narrative.

In the game, set entrenched in Norse mythology, the warrior Senua battles a gauntlet of hellish creatures in an attempt to save the soul of her dead lover. The game was praised for exploring themes of mental illness and psychological horror, atop tight hack and slash gameplay with puzzle solving elements.
It's unknown at this time how much Hellblade will cost when it hits Xbox, but it appears that the game will also enjoy Xbox One X enhancements, listing 4K resolution and HDR as visual features. Ninja Theory further detailed the game's enhancements, which comes with three separate modes for enhanced visuals, higher resolution (dynamic up to full 4K, beating the PS4 Pro's 1440p maximum), and a HD 60 FPS performance mode for those without 4K TVs.
We'll let you know when Hellblade is available for pre-order. Fans of psychological horror and cinematic adventure games should definitely keep this on their radar, presuming you haven't yet played on PS4 or PC.
