Almost everything about Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been leaked.
Nowadays, game leaks are commonplace in an age where countless people are involved in the development process. Shadow of the Tomb Raider – the upcoming sequel and final act in the rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy – seems to be the victim of not just one, but countless. Today, a teaser website for the game went live but it contained more information than what Square Enix intended to reveal to consumers just yet.
Currently, the Shadow of the Tomb Raider website features an image of an eclipse. However, if you look at the website code, it says "Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the climatic finale to Lara's origin story. Available on September 14, 2018." While the reveal is expected to take place on March 15, preorders information should be available on April 27. The title is expected to be available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.

Just after that information leaked, a trailer appeared on Facebook and Twitter. It confirmed the name of the game and the release date. It also seems that Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes place all over the globe but focuses on Central America and the region's lost civilization and pyramids.
We've reached out to Square Enix for comment and shall update you as soon as receive a response. However, considering that the reveal is expected to take place tomorrow, the publisher might just wait until then. If you haven't played the new Tomb Raider games yet, be sure to check out Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One and PC. It's a thrilling experience and looks even better on Xbox One X.
