Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week.
This week we have no new "AAA" releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Train Sim World tasks you with learning how to drive them, and Fear Effect Sedna has your shooting up a cyberpunk world. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, between March 5 and March 9, 2018.
Darwin Project
Battle royale titles are becoming increasingly popular and with the success of games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the genre is thriving. One such game which was announced during Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference was Darwin Project. Darwin Project takes place in a post-apocalyptic environment in Canada. As civilization prepares for an upcoming ice age, a twisted new project emerges, half science experiment and half entertainment. It's called Darwin Project and it challenges participants to survive the cold and fight to the death in a treacherous arena. According to the developer, the game offers a competitive multiplayer third-person experience with an emphasis on survival.

Fear Effect Sedna
Fear Effect is a popular cyberpunk franchise and it's finally coming to Xbox One. Fear Effect Sedna is a pausable real-time tactical action game. Players become reacquainted with the old team of Hana, Rain, Deke and Glas in a new adventure. From Hong Kong to Greenland, through Inuit mythology and with new partners, will you dare to face the spirit world once again?

Nine Parchments
Nine Parchments is a co-op blast 'em up game from Frozenbyte. Frozenbyte is famous for the Trine franchise and developing magic-based experiences. The title follows a group of runaway apprentice wizards who seize the opportunity to complete their spellbooks by going after the lost Nine Parchments.
Nine Parchments should launch on March 7, priced at $19.99. The game features Xbox One X support for 4K 60 FPS visuals.
Train Sim World: Founders Edition
Train Sim World is a first-person simulator that uses actual data to bring to life the performance, sounds and power of real trains. The game features complete in-cab interactivity, where you can feel the detail as you sit in the driver's seat or explore classic trains. The premise is rather simple: you've been invited to work for Great Western Railways as a driver on one of Britain's busiest railways. With a timetable to keep and thousands of passengers to transport, your skill, focus and endurance will be tested to the limit. Players command the iconic Great Western Railways HST at a breathtaking 125 MPH along the Great Western Main Line out of London's Paddington Main Line Station, driving high-speed and commuter passenger trains on one of Britain's busiest railways.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge Day One Edition
For bikers, there are two types of speed races: the Isle of Man TT and the rest. In competitive biking, no other race is as gruelling for the bikes and demanding for the riders. The TT Isle of Man game features the Snaefell Mountain course, all 37.73 miles, with the champions and their bikes. The goal is to memorize each section of the course, go around each bend to perfection, keep your concentration throughout the laps, get the best time, and write your name alongside the greatest riders.

Way of the Passive Fist
Way of the Passive Fist is a unique and colorful arcade brawler. Players must parry, dodge and dash to outwit and outlast enemies on a desolate planet ruled by raiders, mutants and fanatical sun worshipers.

Scribblenauts Showdown
Scribblenauts is a well-known puzzle game franchise and it's back on Xbox One with a party experience. Scribblenauts Showdown requires you to use your imagination and go head-to-head in the ultimate multiplayer game. You can make objects from over 35,000 items from the vast Scribblenauts dictionary to outsmart your opponent in over 25 mini-games.

North
In North you step into the shoes of a man who applies for asylum in a city filled with strange creatures and customs. The game deals with the issue of the contemporary refugee crisis while at the same time being rooted in a cyberpunk atmosphere. According to the developer, the gameplay is very straightforward and mostly consists of exploration. The main goal is to understand what you have to do in order to get asylum.
North should launch on March 6, priced at $4.99. The game features Xbox One X support.
One Eyed Kutkh
One Eyed Kutkh is a space adventure based on the fairy tales of the north. A single traveler on his way home crashes on a mysterious planet. To continue his journey, he'll have to get to the ninth heaven, deceive the Sun and the Moon, and steal their space-boats.

Other experiences like Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm Farewell, and Rocket League: DC Super Heroes are also coming out next week.
