These Xbox 360 games should look crisp on an Xbox One X.
When the Xbox One X launched, Microsoft surprised consumers by announcing that certain Xbox 360 games would be enhanced for the console. Experiences like Fallout 3 and Halo 3 look absolutely stunning on a 4K display due to the increase in resolution. A nine fold increase in pixel count sharpens up the image considerably. However, many thought that the company wouldn't upgrade other Xbox 360 games because it was only used to market the console at launch.
Luckily, Albert Penello, the head of Marketing for Xbox Consoles, confirmed that more Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 games were coming soon. Roughly a week after that announcement, Microsoft revealed that Crackdown, Fable Anniversary, Forza Horizon, and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings have been upgraded to take advantage of the new machine.
Crackdown
Crackdown is a game all about destruction. Pacific City is overridden and crime controls the streets. Three powerful gangs have taken the once-great metropolis hostage, and the police have proven powerless in their efforts to regain control. Only by deploying genetically-enhanced agents can Pacific City provide citizens with some sense of hope now. Crackdown takes place in an open world environment where players are free to explore the city and decide on the best tactics for each combat scenario.

This edition contains vivid graphics and remastered audio which should appeal to newcomers and long-time fans alike. Fable Anniversary tasks you with creating your life story from your early years as an inexperienced warrior to the prime of life as you become the most powerful being in the world. You can choose the path of righteousness or dedicate your life to evil. The choice is yours.

Forza Horizon
Forza Horizon is an open world racing game which combines the automotive thrills that Forza fans expect with a gorgeous world that begs to be explored. Unlike the Forza Motorsport series, you can drive wherever you want and challenge your friends in unique showdowns.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a single-player role-playing game and sequel to the critically acclaimed The Witcher. Based on the short stories and novels of Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher 2 continues the adventures of the medieval monster hunter for hire, Geralt of Rivia. It is also the first game in The Witcher franchise to be released on Xbox 360. According to the developer, the Enhanced Edition features sword-based and magical combat, a mature storyline, game development based on choices made during missions and dialog chains, weapons variety, and graphical quality and control functionality on par with the PC release.

The added power of the Xbox One X allows the company to render more pixels even when it comes to older games. The device launched on November 7, 2017 and is the most powerful console ever made. The Xbox One X features 6 teraflops of processing power and 12 GB of memory. In addition to that, the console contains a 4K Blu-ray player and offers a faster hard drive for improved load times. For those looking to make the most of their gaming experience — no matter if it's the desire for higher resolutions or more stable frame rates — the console may be the device for you.
