Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week.
This week we have a few new "AAA" releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, the popular online game Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet launches on the console, and Metal Gear Survive allows you to shoot your way through hordes of enemies. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, between February 19 and February 23, 2018.
Metal Gear Survive
Metal Gear Survive is a spin-off from the main Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain story that takes place in a strange alternative universe. You can create your own character and learn how to face the challenges of a strange land. Scavenge resources, craft weapons, build a base, and explore the unknown while developing the survival skills necessary to battle hordes of enemies. Metal Gear Survive also features a co-op mode where you can assemble a team of four players to infiltrate and defend areas from dozens of creatures.
Metal Gear Survive should launch on February 20, priced at $39.99. The game features Xbox One X support.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
In Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, players get to experience an original story where you are the protagonist in the world of Gun Gale Online. You can create your own avatar and explore devastated lands with your partner. Fans of the Sword Art franchise will be delighted to learn that you'll encounter enemies and run into new and familiar faces from the universe. As an action-based game, gun battles play a larger role unlike previous games, with unique and realistic designs resembling content out of science fiction movies.

Rad Rodgers
Rad Rodgers channels old-school platforming like Commander Keen, Conker, and Jazz Jackrabbit. After falling asleep during a late-night gaming binge, Rad wakes up inside the world of his display with his console Dusty, now sentient and ready to help. Players get to explore the First World and save the decaying jungle infected by a fierce corruption quickly spreading across the land.
Rad Rodgers should launch on February 21.
Past Cure
Past Cure is a dark psychological thriller which blurs the line between dreams and reality. The game challenges the player to use mind-bending mental abilities to survive. After years of torture, former elite soldier Ian lives in a safe house with his brother, struggling with memory loss and the effects of the experiments he was forced to endure. In an attempt to tap into the hidden power of the mind, his captors left him scarred with unrelenting nightmares, visions and unstable powers such as time manipulation and telekinesis. Driven by his desperate need for the truth and a thirst for revenge, Ian sets out on the hunt for the masterminds of this conspiracy.
Past Cure launches on February 23, priced at $29.99.
The Station
The Station is a game which asks how humans would you react if we discovered a sentient alien civilization, challenging everything we know about biology, chemistry, physics, religion, and answering the questions we've asked throughout history. An undetectable space station with a small three-person crew deploys to research the alien culture in search of a means towards a peaceful relationship. Unable to contact the crew, a specialist to sent to uncover what happened. According to the developer, what players discover will challenge their view of surveillance, imperialism, and morality.
The Station should launch on February 20, priced at $14.99.
Xenon Valkyrie+
Xenon Valkyrie+ is a rogue-lite platformer with role-playing elements. You must fight to the deepest part of a moon and halt the plans of a wicked witch. The goal is to obtain better weapons as you fight through a unique, randomly-generated world every time you play.
Xenon Valkyrie+ should launch on February 21, priced at $9.99.
Other experiences like Abo Khashem, Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten, Fumiko!, Symmetry, and Tiles are also coming out next week. It appears as though Fable Fortune is launching out of Xbox Game Preview next Friday too.
