]Sometime things don’t make a whole lot of sense in life. Like this game I’m about to tell you all about. Fall Out Boy, that post-punk band from my high school years, has apparently made a video game for Windows Phone. And to top it all out, it’s a Flappy Bird clone. Yeah.
Head into the Windows Phone Store and you’ll find a game called Fall Out Bird. It takes the gameplay from Flappy Bird, but you’re controlling the floating head of a member of Fall Out Boy. That’s in place of controlling a bird through the impossible obstacle course. You’ll also have music from Fall Out Boy playing in the background. Because the gameplay itself doesn’t cause enough frustration.
Thankfully the game isn’t anywhere near as hard as Flappy Bird. You’ll be able to make it past a handful of guitar pillars if you focus hard enough. Wanting to run the game on your Lumia 520 or other 512MB devices? You can since it supports 512MB devices.
Bonus. You can win a signed CD from Fall Out Boy’s latest album if you play the game and send a screenshot of your high score to the comment section of the Nokia Conversations post linked below.
The game is free and ad-supported. You can grab it in the Windows Phone Store.
