Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus' latest expansion is silent but violent.
Today, Bethesda released Wolfenstein II's latest expansion, called The Diaries of Agent Silent Death. The content is currently available for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, with a Nintendo Switch release expected later this year.
The mission to liberate America from the Nazis has only just begun and the developer keeps on releasing new content. Players can continue the fight in The Diaries of Agent Silent Death, the second in a series of three expansion packs available as part of The Freedom Chronicles Season Pass.
You play as former Office of Strategic Services agent and assassin, Jessica Valiant, also known as Agent Silent Death. Hot on the trail of a sinister plot, Valiant finds herself in the offices of Paragon Pictures, a Tinseltown film studio turned Nazi propaganda machine. Your goal is to stalk, shoot and stab from the shadows in pursuit of your prey.
A free update also hit Wolfenstein II alongside the expansion. The patch provides various optimizations and bug fixes, fixes some balancing issues, and adds more prominent damage direction indicators. The damage indicators are the most significant addition because beforehand it was a little challenging to see where you were being shot.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Wolfenstein: The New Order. The base game is also only currently available on Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4. This time around you fight the Nazis in iconic American locations, equip an arsenal of insane guns, and unleash new abilities to blast your way through legions of Nazi soldiers and trigger the second American Revolution.
