When Overwatch launched in 2016, Blizzard Entertainment promised to aggressively supported the game with post-launch characters and maps. Today, the developer announced that a new map, called Blizzard World, is now available to all players.
Overwatch's brand-new hybrid Assault-Escort map is set in an amusement park celebrating the Diablo, StarCraft, and Warcraft franchises. It makes you wish that a real park like this existed somewhere. You can charge the gates of Stormwind, sneak through the Nexus Experience, and guide the payload through areas filled with high ground, flanking routes, and environmental hazards. Players have a lot of options in this complex arena.
Apart from the new Disney-land style map, the developer is expanding cosmetic items to include over a hundred new ones. You'll be able to acquire new skins, sprays, icons, and emotes for all 26 characters. Barbarian Zarya, Black Cat D.Va, Carbon Fiber Zenyatta, and Immortal Orisa are particular memorable.
Overwatch is a first-person shooter which features various heroes battling various villains. Each character is unique and has their own set of abilities and skills. Despite the diverse cast of fighters, the game is surprisingly balanced and you never feel like you're at a disadvantage if you choose one over the other. The game is currently available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
