Did you get any kisses on Valentine’s Day? If you’re looking for more, there’s a new game on Windows Phone that’s all about kissing. You play as a giraffe walking through the meadows, trying to kiss as many other giraffes as you can. Try not to break anyone’s heart!
Head past the break to watch our hands on video and gameplay.
Paramour looks completely different from Flappy Bird, but the gameplay feels similar. The giraffe is moving from left to right and you control how high to raise its neck. Tap or hold the screen to go higher. Let go of the screen to lower the neck. Your giraffe will kiss the other giraffes if their heads are around the same level.
The longer you make a Kiss Chain, the more points you get! If you miss a kissing opportunity, a giraffe’s heart will be broken. You’re allowed to break three hearts until it’s game over. At the end, the game shows your current score and high score. You can quickly try again or click the share button to let everyone know about your score. The status update looks like this:
Hey! I just made 25,500 points on #Paramour for #WindowsPhone ! #DasDonkey
It also includes a link to the developer’s Facebook page, DasDonkey.
The graphics on Paramour look great, but the music background makes us a little sleepy. We’d prefer something a little more upbeat. This is a great game to have if you have kids playing with your Windows Phone device. We also think it’s a good time-waster.
Paramour is a free download from the Windows Phone Store, but ads are displayed while you’re playing. We don’t see any in-app purchases available to remove these ads. Check out Paramour and let us know what you think in the comments!
