More games are joining the Xbox One backward compatibility program today. Xbox's Larry Hryb recently announced that Driver: San Francisco, Far Cry 2, and Sniper Elite V2 will be playable on the console today.
Xbox One backward compatible is a feature which allows gamers to natively play original Xbox and Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One consoles. While the original Xbox backward compatible library will only contain select titles, Microsoft is trying to bring almost the entire Xbox 360 library to the new generation. You don't need to stream the game or pay an additional fee for the ability.

Driver: San Francisco is an action-adventure racing game along the lines of Need for Speed. With crime lord Charles Jericho now on the loose, the city of San Francisco faces a terrible threat. Apparently, only one man can stand against him. Just completely ignore the police. He has driven the streets of a hundred cities, and spent his whole life putting criminals behind bars. However, to take Jericho down, there can be no turning back, and he knows that this may very well be his last ride. You step into the shoes of John Tanner, also known as the Driver, in this thrilling game which is similar to a campy 1980's action film.
Far Cry 2 is an open-world first-person shooter where every decision you make affects the outcome of the game. The first sequel to the award-winning franchise takes you to Africa, one of the most beautiful and hostile environments in the world. You are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn state, stricken with malaria, and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords. Your mission is to hunt down and kill The Jackal. The Jackal is an arms dealer who has been perpetuating this conflict for years, wreaking havoc on the land and all of its innocent people.
While Sniper Elite V2 isn't as refined as Sniper Elite 4, it's still a popular entry in the great franchise. According to the developer, one bullet can change the course of history. Rockets with deadly nerve gas are primed to launch. An army of German and Russian soldiers stand in your way. Players must make every single bullet count or the world dies with you. Fan-favorite features like the X-ray kill camera let you see organs tear and burst, bones and teeth shatter, as your bullet passes through your enemy. Just like other games in the series, it features co-op gameplay so you can take on the Nazis with friends.
