Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones really stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week, starting January 15, 2018.
This week we aren't seeing any new "AAA" releases, but there are a few surprises nonetheless. Aerial adventure InnerSpace and investigation-based The Vanishing of Ethan Carter are coming to the console in the next few days. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, from January 15 to January 19, 2018.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was previously a PlayStation 4 console exclusive which is finally coming to Xbox One in a few days. The game is a first-person mystery experience focused on exploration and discovery. The title garnered critical acclaim when it launched all those years ago. You step into the shoes of Paul Prospero, an occult-focused detective who receives a disturbing letter from a child named Ethan Carter. After realizing that the boy is in grave danger, Paul arrives at Ethan's home of Red Creek Valley, where events turn out to be even worse than expected. The game also features Xbox One X upgrades.

InnerSpace
InnerSpace is an exploration-based flying game set in a mind-bending world of inside-out planets called the Inverse. Soar through uncharted skies and oceans to discover the true history of this realm. According to the developer, the game features an ethereal art style and soothing electronic music. It's a dizzying and dazzling journey of discovery into the heart of a dying realm where entire civilizations have perished, yet ancient gods still wander.
InnerSpace launches on January 16, priced at $19.99.
The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human
In The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human, you explore the ruins of the human race and discover the thriving wildlife that blossomed after our extinction in this underwater adventure. Players will encounter monstrous creatures and let curiosity guide them through an inevitable voyage of extinction. The game seems to be as thrilling as it is depressing.

Full Metal Furies
From the creators of Rogue Legacy comes a co-op role-playing game called Full Metal Furies. The title puts an emphasis on team play with a unique combat system where everyone is important. Work together to defeat special enemies, string organics combos to deal massive damage, and save a war-torn world that is battling itself to extinction. Full Metal Furies is an Xbox Play Anywhere purchase.

Mutant Football League
Mutant Football League is exactly what you expect it to be. Mutants and monsters unleash maniacal carnage on the gridiron in this action packed, arcade-style football game. The game features intense online multiplayer action, deep strategy, and deadly humor. Despite the fact that it might not be the most polished experience, it's still a lot of fun.

Aside from other smaller games like 2064: Read Only Memories, Beholder, and Vesta, that's it for this week.
