Most anticipated Xbox One games launching this week

Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones really stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week, starting December 11, 2017.

This week we aren't seeing any new "AAA" releases but there are a few surprises nonetheless. PC sensation PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and cult classic Ōkami HD are coming to the console in the next few days. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, from December 11, 2017, to December 15, 2017.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

From the makers of the best-selling PC phenomenon, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds drops players into a competitive survival battle where you'll engage in a heart-racing fight to be the last player left alive. Loot supplies, find weapons, and gear up to take on the competition. Emerge as the lone survivor in a thrilling game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments. The title supports Xbox One X.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds launches through Xbox Game Preview on December 12, 2017, priced at $29.99.

Ōkami HD

The much loved and acclaimed visual masterpiece, Ōkami HD, was hailed as one of the most beautiful games ever created. According to the developers, this latest release with its renowned art style is now even more breathtaking as the graphics have been updated to take advantage of higher resolutions. The title supports Xbox One X.

Ōkami HD launches on December 12, 2017, priced at $19.99.

Circuits

Many puzzle games release on Xbox One each month but only some stand out due to their unique look and gameplay. Simple in concept, but very challenging to master, Circuits is a musical puzzle game that requires careful listening to complete each level. The goal of Circuits is to piece together the different parts of a song.

Circuits launches on December 15, 2017, priced at $4.99.

Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince

In Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince, players control two characters simultaneously just like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. One of these characters represents good and one represents evil. However, each must be guided through their levels in both dimensions. This is not as easy as it sounds as both characters will move in opposite directions.

Night in the Woods

Night in the Woods is an adventure game focused on exploration, story and character. It features dozens of individuals to meet and lots to do across a vibrant world. You play as college dropout Mae Borowski, who returns home to the crumbling mining town of Possum Springs. Home seems different now and her friends have grown and changed… and strange things are happening at night. You must uncover the mystery behind it all.

Night in the Woods launches on December 13, 2017.

Aside from some other smaller games, that's it for this week. A few expansions like Battlefield 1: Turning Tides and Resident Evil 7: End of Zoe are also coming. Those are the biggest games launching soon, and many of them seem like absolutely thrilling experiences.
