Every week Microsoft and certain publishers discount numerous games for Xbox Live users.

However, sometimes there are unexpected sales tied to popular events like The Game Awards 2017 or Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals promotion. While we don't know why these titles are discounted at the moment, we do know that some amazing games are available for substantially less. Note that these discounts are separate from the Deals with Gold sales which go up every Monday.

Games like Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are part of this sale so you should purchase these stellar first-person shooters if you haven't already. You can't go wrong with any of these games because they're all popular titles out of which many feature Xbox One X support.
