Call of Duty: WWII is a great first-person shooter and features a lot of content. One of the new additions to this year's entry is the Headquarters social space.
Headquarters allows you to interact with other players and participate in other public events like defending the area. However, Headquarters has been experiencing a lot of problems since launch. Gamers found themselves as the only ones there and it wasn't the Destiny-like social space Activision promised.
Luckily, that's been fixed in today's Patch 1.06. Sledgehammer Games explained that the featured required a lot of testing and polishing before being available to everyone. They issued the following statement in the patch notes.
After a bunch of testing, we are beginning to turn on fully populated Headquarters for everyone. As part of our latest patch, players simply select HQ via the MP menu. The core HQ experience is there, so players can compete, earn rewards, show off their accomplishments and connect with friends.
This is great news for gamers who wished to further engage with the community. Hopefully Headquarters will be updated in the coming months to be even better. Aside from this major change, the patch also fixed a lot of balancing issues and glitches. It should be noted that microtransactions went live a few days ago which allow you to purchase loot crates to unlock certain items.
Call of Duty returns to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII. According to Activision, the game is a breathtaking experience that redefines World War II for a new gaming generation. You step into the shoes of a young soldier who lands in Normandy on D-Day and must battle across Europe through iconic locations in history's most monumental war. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of friendship, and the unforgiving nature of war in this game.
