Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones really stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this week, starting November 27, 2017.
This week we aren't seeing any new "AAA" releases but there are a few surprises nonetheless. Gothic horror adventure Black Mirror and shoot 'em up Sky Force Reloaded are coming to the console in the next few days. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, from November 27, 2017, to December 1, 2017.
Sky Force Reloaded
Air-based Sky Force Reloaded was developed in the spirit of classic arcade shoot 'em ups, captured with modern visuals and design. This new entry in the series will keep players entertained for hours. The title features gigantic explosions, incinerating lasers, colossal bosses, and diverse aircrafts.
Just like its predecessor, the game has tight controls and a focus on upgrades. There are a few goals in each level like saving all civilians and eliminating all enemies. However, you won't be able to do this in one go. You have to keep on collecting stars and buying better guns or defenses. After dozens of hours, you'll become a true force of destruction. There's also local co-op available if you want to blow up everything in your path with a friend.
Sky Force Reloaded launches on December 1, 2017, priced at $9.99.
SOMA
SOMA is an underwater game focused on survival. The radio is dead, food is running out, and the machines have started to think they're people. Underwater facility PATHOS-II has suffered an intolerable isolation, and you're going to have to make some tough decisions.
The world of SOMA contains horrors buried deep beneath the ocean waves. Delve into locked terminals and secret documents to uncover the truth behind the chaos. Seek out the last remaining inhabitants and take part in the events that will ultimately shape the fate of the station. Be careful though. Danger lurks around every corner.
SOMA launches on December 1, 2017, priced at $29.99.
Black Mirror
Black Mirror is a Gothic horror adventure filled with mystery. When his father dies under mysterious circumstances, David Gordon is summoned to his family's ancestral home, Black Mirror House, to discuss his heritage. Soon he starts suffering from the same nightmarish visions that drove his father to end his own life. The game requires you to enter the world of Black Mirror where psychological distress and madness await. Your survival depends on your decisions.
Black Mirror launches on November 28, 2017, priced at $39.99.
Blue Angels Aerobatic Flight Simulator
Flight simulators have always been a popular genre and playing as a stunt pilot never goes out of style. In Blue Angels Aerobatic Flight Simulator, you can become part of the Blue Angels Team. Experience flight at 400 MPH just inches from your partner's wing. However, what if you're new to the genre? An assisted driving system allows everyone to learn even the most extreme stunts. The game wants you to compete in the simulation mode and push your reflexes to the limit.
Blue Angels Aerobatic Flight Simulator launches on December 1, 2017, priced at $14.99.
