It looks like Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have a little more Gears of War to look forward to, come December.
Gears of War 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on December 1, if our interpretation of a recent tweet from Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb is correct. While the Major never comes out and directly says that's what's happening, but the video attached to the tweet pretty much speaks for itself.

That's four Gears of War logos around an Xbox Game Pass card. Given that the other Gears titles are already available via Game Pass, the meaning is pretty obvious.
Xbox Game Pass initially launched in June as a subscription service for gamers. For $10 per month, subscribers can access a growing collection of more than 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. Instead of streaming, like PlayStation Now, Xbox Game Pass lets you download full games before diving in.
As the latest in one of Microsoft's flagship first-party properties, Gears of War 4 will make for a solid addition to the lineup of titles. And if you have an Xbox One X, Gears 4 serves as a pretty good way to check out what the console can do, thanks to a recent update that added a 60fps campaign mode and 4K support. Gears of War 4 will join recent additions like Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, Resident Evil, and more.
If you want to check out Game Pass now, Microsoft is offering a one-month subscription for $1 as part of its Black Friday deals.
