A remastered version of L.A. Noire was recently announced for Xbox One and since then many gamers have been asking about the enhancements.
No trailer or other videos were released alongside the announcement. Well, it looks like Rockstar Games finally heard everyone loud and clear because today we finally got a good look at the visuals. Best of all, the Xbox Twitter account claims that they're captured from an Xbox One X.
If you look at the trailer, you see a difference in the overall crispness of the game. While it may not completely look like a next-generation title, the bump to 4K on Xbox One X is impressive nonetheless. If you haven't experience L.A. Noire before, now's the right time to jump in.
The game is a dark and violent crime thriller set against the backdrop of 1940's Los Angeles. Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, Cole Phelps, a Los Angeles Police Department detective, is thrown into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is widespread, the drug trade is booming, and murder rates are higher than ever. In his fight to climb the ranks of his department and do what's right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a series of arsons, racketeering cases, and violent murders. However, his fight isn't only with organized criminals: Members of his own department are also corrupt so he has to uncover the secret behind it all.
Remastered L.A. Noire launches on November 14, 2017, for $39.99. It includes all of the additional content which came with the game as well. The title was considered revolutionary when it first launched because it utilized amazing face-capture technology. You had to look at the expression on suspect's faces to tell if they were lying or telling the truth.
