Every week numerous games launch on Xbox One but which ones really stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most-anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms this coming week.

While the week is also packed with the release of smaller games like AER: Memories of Old, Deer Hunter: Reloaded, and Rapala Fishing: Pro Series, "AAA" titles like Assassin's Creed Origins and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus are generating the most hype. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, from October 23 to October 27, 2017.

Assassin's Creed Origins

The next Assassin's Creed game takes you back to the beginning. Ancient Egypt, a land of majesty and intrigue, is disappearing in a ruthless fight for power. Unveil dark secrets and forgotten myths as you go back to the one founding moment: the origins of the Assassin's Brotherhood. Assassin's Creed Origins is getting Xbox One X support so be sure to keep a look out for it when the console launches.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus

Do you like shooting Nazis? Well, if you do we have great news. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is releasing shortly. Following the events of Wolfenstein: The New Order, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are B.J. Blazkowicz, also known as "Terror-Billy" under the Nazi propaganda machine, member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi Empire, and humanity's last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution. Easy task, no pressure! This game is also getting enhanced for Xbox One X.

Just Dance 2018

Just Dance 2018 is coming out next week. The game is rather self-explanatory because, well, you just dance! See what we did there? Clever, no? The game is back with over forty tracks at launch, and more than 300 songs available with Just Dance Unlimited. Just Dance Unlimited's trial is included in the game for a few months so you don't have to worry about buying it upon release.

The Mummy Demastered

Did you like The Mummy with Tom Cruise? Well, Wayforward Technologies—the company behind the hilarious Shantae series—is bringing the film to video game form but with a twist. The Mummy Demastered throws you into a 16-bit-inspired battle against the undead in a 2D adventure. As an elite agent in the monster-hunting Prodigium organization, you must use a variety of weapons, upgrades and magical artifacts to defend mankind against the supernatural threat of Princess Ahmanet, the villain from the film.

Rugby 18

Do you like rugby? Are you scared to play the sport in real life due to concerns over chronic traumatic encephalopathy? Well, we have great news for you! The next iteration in the franchise is back. Live the intensity of the greatest matches with Rugby 18, which is touted by the developer as "the most complete rugby game to date".
