Hand of Fate 2, the sequel to the original 2015 action RPG, will land in November.

Hand of Fate 2 will officially land as an Xbox One X launch title on November 7. The game's developer, Defiant Development, has announced that Hand of Fate 2 will take advantage of the new console's beefed up specs to run in 4K resolution.

Hand of Fate 2 is the follow-up to 2015's Hand of Fate. Like the original, the sequel will pack a unique mix of card-based and action RPG gameplay. Defiant Development explains:

Hand of Fate 2 once again challenges players to overcome trials built from collectible cards, handed out by the Dealer. Each card will test players with hack-and-slash combat, dangerous locales to explore, tense minigames, or Dungeons & Dragons-style decisions. A new map-based overworld allows players to discover and unlock those challenges in entirely new ways.

The sequel also introduces a variety of new features, including weapon types and associated fighting styles, cards that can provide a powerful boost, different victory conditions for combat and the dealer's card game, as well as all-new bosses, enemy types, and storylines.

As in the original, the main antagonist of Hand of Fate 2 will be The Dealer. Now under control of the original game's hero, The Dealer has "crowned himself emperor, banned all magic and exiled the non-human races" in a quest for vengeance.

Hand of Fate 2 will be available on November 7 for $29.99 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. In the meantime, if you'd like to dive into the original Hand of Fate, you can currently grab it for $19.99.
