SCUF Gaming has a treat for Forza fans with its latest custom controller.
Forza Motorsport 7 is just around the corner, and while your standard Xbox One controller will work just fine, SCUF Gaming is hoping it can tempt you with a custom job. SCUF has announced a partnership with Porsche and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios to release a custom Forza Motorsport 7 Xbox controller for diehard fans of the series.
Based on the design of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, the controller adds a number of custom tweaks to the standard Elite controller design. The controller sports a silver finish with red and black racing stripes and accents down the front. On the rear, its handles are partially covered in Alcantara leather. Rounding things out, a Porsche crest is attached at the top of the controller, just above the battery compartment.
If the custom Forza controller sounds like it's up your alley, you'll need a little bit of luck and a fat wallet. The controller on its own will retail for a whopping $299.95 and only 2000 will be made available. A special version bundled with a 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS scale model with SCUF Gaming and Forza Motorsport 7 logo will also be up for grabs at $369.95 with only 500 available.
The controllers will go up for preorder starting October 7 at the Microsoft Store and through SCUF with units set to ship in late October. As for Forza Motorsport 7, it's available for preorder now at $59.99 ahead of its September 29 early access release.
