The latest Call of Duty: WWII trailer gives us a gritty glimpse of what the campaign has in store.

Up until this point, we've seen a lot of Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer mode, but not much in terms of its single-player campaign. The latest trailer for the game pulls the veil back a bit, giving us a peek at the action to come.

From the trailer's description:

Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald "Red" Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany.

Though there's no actual gameplay shown off, the trailer does tap into some of the major pieces of the plot that will drive the story forward.

Call of Duty: WWII is set for launch on November 3 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game is up for preorder now starting at $59.99 at Microsoft and other retailers. As usual, Activision is also throwing in some goodies for preorders, including a free multiplayer weapon unlock, a Divisions Pack with five premium gear sets, and a Zombies Camo for your gun.
