The latest update is coming next week with a few key additions.
While we're still waiting for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to go live on the Xbox One, the PC version that has taken the world by storm continues on its path towards a full release. The next update is on the way and along with the promised (and much needed) bug fixes there are some new features to get excited about.
Some of the key features of the new build include a new weapon, foggy weather condition, FPP leaderboards and multiple bug fixes.

We've been working on the new build and will deploy the update next week. Test servers will be up for at least 2 days early next week.

First Person Perspective (FPP) mode is one of the newest additions to the game and the introduction of leaderboards is something the more competitive players have been crying out for.
While the new weapon seems to be an unknown quantity at the moment, the addition of foggy weather brings another challenge to the 100-man battlefield. The rainy conditions already require a strategy shift, and visibility hindering fog will no doubts require yet another.
To say this is the biggest hit of the year in gaming would certainly be accurate. It just passed 10 million copies sold in Steam Early Access, it's coming to Xbox Game Preview before 2017 is out and even managed to top Valve's own Dota 2 in terms of concurrent players. The world is obsessed with PUBG and it's showing no signs of slowing down. It's probably the best 30 bucks you'll spend on a PC game right now.
