Kumail Nanjiani joins the cast of Middle-earth: Shadow of War with a touch of insecurity and a load of humor.

While the story packed into Middle-earth: Shadow of War may be a serious affair, developer Monolith is adding a dash of humor to the mix with the game's latest cast member. In a new trailer for the game, Silicon Valley and The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani makes an appearance as a neurotic orc named, appropriately, "The Agonizer."

Nanjiani's character will be one of the many orcs that you'll be able to interact with as part of Shadow of War's Nemesis system. While many of the orcs bellow various threatening lines about cutting off your head or making you their slave, The Agonizer is a little unsure of himself. The result, delivered with the help of Nanjiani's comedic timing, is a hilarious character made more absurd when contrasted against the other enemies you'll face throughout Shadow of War.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will build upon the story of its predecessor, Shadow of Mordor, when it arrives on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 10. The game will also feature enhancements just for Xbox One X, including a bump to 4K resolution and increased graphical fidelity.
