The highlight of these latest additions is Red Faction: Armageddon. The game is a third-person shooter that sees players taking control of protagonist Darius Mason as he tries to save humanity from extinction at the hands of an alien race on Mars. Red Faction: Armageddon is available on the Xbox 360 marketplace for $30, but the game will go free in August as part of that month's Games with Gold.
GYRUSS is a classic arcade shooter title that packs in a total of 23 levels that take you from Neptune to Earth. The game packs a single player mode, as well as online multiplayer for two people. This version also includes leaderboards, as well as 12 achievements to unlock. GYRUSS is up for grabs for $4.99 from Microsoft.
Lastly, Raiden IV is another arcade shooter that pits players against waves of enemy squadrons with different weapons at their disposal. This one is available for $20 at Microsoft.
If you already have any of these games, you should be able to install them on your Xbox One and start playing right away. Otherwise, you can pick them up on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Also be sure to check out our comprehensive list of backward compatible titles for a full look at the catalog.
