Telltale Games is flexing its narrative muscles with the reveal of new seasons for 3 of its games.

If you've been waiting in anticipation of Telltale Games' next batch of narrative adventures, the wait is over. New seasons for Telltale's Batman, The Wolf Among Us, and The Walking Dead series are all in development, with the first — Batman — set to arrive in August.

As the second season in the series, Batman: The Enemy Within will see the Dark Knight take on The Riddler. From Telltale:

The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman's new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?

The second season kicks off on August 8 with the first episode of a 5-part series on all of the usual platforms, including Xbox One and PC. And while it's a separate purchase from the first season, Telltale notes that choices you made in the first season will carry over and impact the story of the second.

Next up is Telltale's The Walking Dead series, whose final season is in development now ahead of a planned 2018 release. The developer is mum on exact details, but the fact that the long-running series — the first episode debuted in 2012 — is coming to a close is a pretty big deal.

Likewise, a new season for The Wolf Among Us is also in development and is currently planned for release in the second half of 2018. There's no title, and there aren't any story details available just yet, but news of a new season for the popular series is sure to stoke the hype for Telltale fans.

All three titles are due for release on Xbox One and PC, in addition to iOS, Android, PS4 and Mac. Telltale has even shown a willingness to support Windows Store versions of some of their games, so we'll likely see these land there at some point — though likely not at launch.
