One of the cooler aspects of Star Wars Battlefront was that it allowed players to occasionally step into the shoes of an iconic hero from the Star Wars universe to dominate the battlefield. Star Wars Battlefront 2 will continue that tradition, and a new leak posted on Reddit (via Eurogamer) from the game's closed alpha gives us an initial look at what heroes we can expect to see when the game arrives this fall.
Returning to the fray from the first game are perennial Star Wars icons like Luke, Han, Chewie, Leia and Darth Vader. There are some new names on the list, of course, some of which include Darth Maul and General Grievous. Here's a look at the list as it currently stands in the game's files:
- Boba Fett
- Han Solo
- Leia
- Luke
- Bossk
- Chewbacca
- Darth Vader
- Emperor
- Grievous
- Iden
- Kylo Ren
- Lando
- Maul
- Phasma
- Rey
- Yoda
As Eurogamer notes, this list seems incomplete at the moment. For example, both Phasma and Finn have been announced, but only Phasma appears in the list. Aside from the current list, we should see more characters added to the game post-launch as well.
