Xbox Live Gold members will get a chance to dip their toes into The Elder Scrolls Online for free this week on Xbox One. As revealed on Xbox Wire, the MMORPG will be free to check out starting at 10 a.m. EST on April 11 and running through the same time next Tuesday, April 18.
As is the case with all free play time, any achievements and gamerscore will stay with you once the free play days end. If you're planning to take a crack at the game, you'll want to start downloading right away, however; The Elder Scrolls Online weighs in at right around 80GB. The good news? If you're new to the game, you'll get a bonus 500 Crowns to spend on things like mounts and costumes for creating an account.
You can get started playing on April 11 by heading to the Store and downloading the game on your Xbox One. Though you'll only get to play free for a week, discounts set to go live this week mean you can grab the full game for less if you get hooked.
