Thimbleweed Park, a game that looks like a promising adventure romp, was recently confirmed for a March 30 release on Xbox One and Windows 10, but it was unclear at the time whether the game would be an Xbox Play Anywhere title. No we have our answer, as the game's FAQ confirms it will have Play Anywhere support — with one small caveat.
Although Play Anywhere support will be in the game from launch, the Windows Store version of the game is set to follow Steam and Xbox by "a few weeks." In other words, you can start playing on your Xbox on day one, but you'll have to wait a while to start enjoying the cross-platform Play Anywhere perks. Still, it's good to see yet another title added to the list and a boon for anyone that alternates between the couch and a desk for their gaming sessions.
To recap, Thimbleweed Park is a classic point-an-click adventure game from the makers of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. You'll get to play as 5 protagonists as you work to uncover the secrets of Thimbleweed Park and piece together each character's story. The game has been in the works for a while now, and was even announced for Xbox One at Gamescom in 2015.
