Windows 10 golf games can be great time wasters, and for the golf enthusiast they can help fill the void when conditions are not the best to hit the links. While we no longer have the likes of Let's Golf 2 available anymore, there is still a decent collection of golf-oriented games in the Windows Store.
These are great games to spend a little down time with and while you may not see an improvement in your short game, these Windows 10 titles may satisfy your golfing itch. We have dug deep into the Windows Store shelves to find the best the Store has to offer. So, brush off your spikes, wash your balls and let's take a look at the best golf games for Windows 10.
Pocket Golf
Pocket Golf offers 135 holes of golf that span 15 courses. While this Windows 10 Mobile game offers plenty of golfing, it does so in a rather odd sort of way. The golf holes aren't exactly traditionally styled.
Some have multi-story platforms to play through, giant walls to shoot over and tons of water hazards to play around. Pocket Golf has two game modes — campaign and free-play — with daily challenges to hone your skills with. Courses can be pinched to zoom in/out and scrolled by touch so you can plan your shots more carefully.
To help you survive the wacky courses, there are plenty of power-ups to buy with your earnings. These boosts include mulligans, zero bounce and water balls.
Pocket Golf has simple controls, challenging gameplay and overall not a bad game to pass the time with. It is a free Windows 10 game that is ad supported. You can remove the ad support through a $1.99 in-app purchase.

Fable Coin Golf
Fable Coin Golf has been in the Windows Store long enough to be considered a classic Xbox game and is based off the equally classic Fable Xbox game series. The two games are so intertwined that the gold you earn in the golf game can transfer to the Fable III console game.
While not a traditional game of golf, Fable Coin Golf draws upon traditional pub games to provide a table-top golfing experience. While a typical golf course has dangers such as water hazards, sand traps and rough, Fable Coin Golf has its own set of obstacles and hazards based on the video game's universe.
You have to dodge ogre-like creatures, skeletons and other enemies, as well as navigate your puck (the golf ball) through forests and over bridges. Sink your puck with as few shots as possible, and if your score is good enough to earn a bronze medal you advance to the next hole.
Graphics are full of detail, gameplay challenging to test your strategy and aiming skills and overall, Fable Coin Golf remains one of the best golf games in the Windows Store. Fable Coin Golf is currently priced at $4.99 with a trial version and is available for Windows 10 Mobile.

Mini Golf Club
While full games of golf are a rare breed in the Windows Store, there are plenty of miniature golf styled games to make up for things. Mini Golf Club is one of the best offerings to test your skills with the flat blade, offering over 300 interactive holes of putt-putt.
Mini Golf Club has four game modes that include tournament play, multiplayer games, practice holes and a premium mode that has uniquely designed holes that are more challenging. If that wasn't enough, you can create your own golf holes with an editor feature.
Graphics are rich with color and detail, the game controls are simple, and the physics engine offers a nice level of realism for each shot. There are a few booster zones to aid your shots such as wind zones and jump areas, but for the most part success depends on your aim and mastery of physics.
Mini Golf Club is a free, ad-supported game that is available for Windows 10 PC and Mobile. You can remove the ad banners with a $1.49 in-app purchase.

Fairway Solitaire
Okay. Fairway Solitaire isn't exactly a game of golf but delivers a fantastic gaming experience that is heavily influenced by golf. Fairway Solitaire is an entertaining mash-up between a round of golf and a game of solitaire.
The card hands are dealt out across over 350 hand-crafted golf holes with four mini-games and 37 trophies to earn. You have a pro shop where you can buy accessories to improve your game, soft-spoken announcers to chart your every move and a gopher that sabotages your game at every move.
Gameplay follows the traditional game of solitaire, but with water hazards and sand traps that block your cards and a bag of golf clubs that act as wild cards. Holes or card hands are grouped together much like you would find on a golf course and scoring is based on par, which is the acceptable number of cards left uncollected. Par or better unlocks the next set of levels.
Graphics are bright and colorful, animations lively and gameplay tests your skills at strategy and luck. It may not be a traditional game of golf, but overall Fairway Solitaire does a great job of bringing that Links experience to a card game. Fairway Solitaire is a free game available for Windows 10 PC and Mobile that provides you access to the first few courses. Unlocking the remaining courses costs you $1.99.

Mini Golf Stars
Mini Golf Stars is another entertaining putt-putt golf option for Windows 10 Mobile. The game has over 150 unique holes that vary in difficulty and backdrops. You may find yourself facing a beachfront hole with a loop-to-loop ramp or multiple ramps on a moon-based course.
Game controls are simple with a pitch feature to let you bounce your shots across a hole, creating a shortcut of sorts. Just be careful to avoid putting too much power behind your shots and sending your ball flying out of bouds, costing you a stroke. There are also mulligans or retries to help avoid those costly mistakes.
Graphics are not as 3Dish as is the case with Mini Golf Club, but eye-catching nonetheless. The physics engine does a good job of simulating gameplay and an overhead view of each hole is available to allow you to plan your shots a little more carefully. You can't zoom in/out, but you can at least rotate the view to get a better feel for things.
Mini Golf Stars is a free game with a few in-app purchase opportunities (mainly to restock your chip shots and mulligans). It's a fun option when you're on the go and need a golfing game to spend a little down time with.
