Already at a hefty 300 titles, Xbox One backwards compatibility just got a little bit beefier thanks to the Bioshock franchise. In fact, Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite for Xbox 360 can all now be played on your Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility.

The obvious elephant in the room here is Bioshock: The Collection, which included updated versions of all three of these games for Xbox One and launched in September. However, if you already owned each game on Xbox 360 and passed on The Collection, this is no doubt great news — especially if you wanted to avoid shelling out the price of a new game for games you already own.
If, for some reason, you'd prefer picking up the Bioshock games on Xbox 360 instead of just grabbing Bioshock: The Collection, you can check them out on the Xbox Marketplace now. Do note, however, that it looks like on Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite are actually available for purchase digitally.
