Many of us are familiar with the Disney lineup of games through the Windows Phone Store. Disney Mobile has a host of fun, well-designed games available for the smaller screen and many of these titles are available for the larger screens of our Windows 10 devices.
These games range from match-three styled games, hidden object games and even Star Wars gets into the mix. We've plucked a small collection of the thirty plus Disney games available in the Windows 10 Store for this roundup. These games are enjoyable ways to pass the time and while I have yet to run across a bad game from Disney, we may have overlooked your favorite Disney gaming title.
If such is the case, feel free to share your recommendation on a Disney game from the Windows 10 Store in the comments below.
Where's My Water 2
The "Where's My …" series of physics-based games from Disney have had a fair amount of success. From Where's My Perry? to Where's My Mickey? these games are not overly complicated but challenging nonetheless. The Where's My Water? game started this trend and for this roundup, we'll take a look at the latest installment, Where's My Water? 2.
Where's My Water? 2 has you joining the colorful sewer alligators Swampy, Allie and Cranky. The game has over 100 levels of puzzles where you have to dig channels to divert water to Swampy's shower or to save his rubber ducks.
As you cut through the dirt you will need to watch out for toxic waste that will spoil Swampy's shower. You also have new levels where you rush to save the rubber ducks by channeling water to their buried locations. The challenge with the "Duck Rush" levels is that the game screen is scrolling as you dig your water channels. Dig too slow and you will leave your water source behind.
The game spans three new locations that include the Sewer, the Soap Factory and the Beach. You also have a new challenge mode where you can replay levels but, just to keep things interesting, the difficulty increases.
All in all, Where's My Water? 2 is a fun, well drawn up Disney game that will appeal to all ages. While you can play the game with a mouse and keyboard, I found it best played from a touch screen. The game is free and ad-free but there are several in-app purchase opportunities.
Where's My Water? 2 is a universal app with support for your Facebook account. In logging into your Facebook account, gaming progress can be transferred between devices.

Maleficent Free Fall
Maleficent Free Fall is one of many match-three games available from Disney that are themed after one of the company's major motion pictures.
Here you have a match-three game that has 75 levels of play, spread across five chapters. These chapters represent a particular stage in Maleficent's life, beginning at childhood.
Game play falls in line with your typical match-three styled game. You are presented with a collection of gems that you have to swap around to create matches of three or more to have them removed from game play and earn points. Where Maleficent Free Fall makes the game more challenging is that with each level, you have a set number of moves to achieve two goals, a scoring goal and a performance goal.
The performance goals range from converting a dark section of the gaming board to light by creating a match on that section to unchaining gaming pieces by creating a match involving those pieces. The game does a good job of walking you through each performance challenge as they are introduced.
Graphics are a little on the creepy side at times, but then again, so is Maleficent. Game play is particularly challenging with the limitations on the number of moves you have available. It adds a bit of strategy to the game.
Overall, Maleficent Free Fall is a fun and challenging game to have in your Windows library. It is an entertaining time waster of a game and a universal title, available for both Windows and Windows Phones. As with most of Disney's games, it is a free game with in-app purchase opportunities.

Star Wars Commander
I have a soft spot for anything Star Wars. I can remember standing in line when the original movie hit theatres and have been hooked on the Star Wars universe ever since. Star Wars Commander is a Windows game that represents this genre exceptionally well and is a great way to spend a little time with.
Set during the times of the Galactic Civil War, Star Wars Commander combines elements of a city builder and a strategy combat game. You build your base city up, train troops, build up defenses and charge into battle on distant planets.
What helps make Star Wars Commander a little unique is that early on you get to choose which side you are fighting for – the Rebellion or the Empire. Do you choose a TIE Fighter over partnering with the likes of Han Solo or Princess Leia?
Once you have chosen your path, you will develop your base, train and upgrade troops, and build up your base defenses. As you create your stronghold, you will venture out on missions to defeat your enemy. You will also have the opportunity to build alliances with friends as well as seek out other players to battle.
Star Wars Commander can be a time consuming game and a very appealing game for not only the Star Wars fans but fans of strategy gaming. Overall, it is an excellent gaming option from Disney. Graphics and animations are nicely drawn up, game play is challenging and the sound effects are true to the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Commander is available from both the Windows Phone and Windows 10 Stores. Gaming progress can be transferred from device to device but requires you to log into the game with your Facebook account. Star Wars Commander is a free gaming title with plenty of in-app purchase opportunities.

Disney Hidden Worlds
Disney's Hidden Worlds is an I Spy game of sorts that challenges you to find objects hidden in plain sight. The game takes you to three different worlds based on three Disney stories.
The story behind the game has you protecting the worlds of Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Aladdin from a mysterious villain who is threatened these worlds' existence by damaging story lines with an ink fog. You team up with Chrona and the Inklings to keep these worlds safe and restore their story lines.
Each picture puzzle represents a key movie moment and by finding all the hidden objects, you restore that element of the timeline. Each picture will have over fifty hidden objects to find with descriptions or thumbnail images of the objects as clues. You do have hints available and the quicker you solve the puzzles, the higher your score.
As you solve the puzzles, you will earn items (ink, paper, etc.) that will be used to craft special items to lead characters back on script or to upgrade buildings to restore them to their old selves before damaged by the ink fog.
Overall, we found Disney Hidden Worlds to be an enjoyable puzzle game to pass the time with and suitable for a wide range of ages. The puzzles are nicely illustrated and the hidden objects can be a challenge to pick out. The free game is available for both Windows and Windows Phones and has the customary in-app purchase opportunities.
