Game Troopers, who have published games such as Overkill 3, Monster GO! and others for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1, have announced their next game will be The Last Door. It will be a port of the acclaimed point-and-click adventure horror game that will be released in July for $2.99.
The Last Door was originally developed by The Game Kitchen and has been released for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. The game chooses to use low-res graphics for its art style. Here's a brief description of the game.
"Set in Victorian England, when Jeremiah Devitt receives a letter from his old schoolmate Anthony Beechworth with a hidden, cryptic message, he knows something is wrong. His journey to an abandoned manor is only the beginning as he starts to remember a long-buried secret from his youth, discovering things man was not meant to know, and opening doors that should have remained closed…"
Jesus Bosch of Game Troopers says:
"As the CEO at Game Troopers, I personally think that this is a very special title, an indie game executed with a very high level of production quality. I got impressed about the high level of production just right after playing for a few minutes. We have very high expectations about the success of this title on Windows Phone."
