Xbox for Windows publisher GameTroopers are back with a minimalistic touch puzzle game, coming soon to Windows Phone.
Lines features a single simple mechanic. Placing dots on a line drawing will cause the color to spill out over it, with the goal of racing to fill the drawing before competing colours.
Game Troopers describe the gameplay as 'simple and compelling', citing addictive qualities. Lines features 250 levels, all re-playable in 5 different game modes that introduce new features and mechanic modifiers as well as daily challenges.
Lines will be available on June 18th carrying a price tag of $2.99, as such it'll have no micro-transactions or ads. The game will also hit Android and iOS after a period of exclusivity on Windows Phone.
Game Troopers have become well-known in the Windows Phone community for publishing Xbox certified titles. Every game under the Game Troopers banner so far has enjoyed full Xbox Live integration, bringing with it achievements that contribute to gamer score. Other games released by the firm include Overkill 3, Tiny Troopers and Make it Rain, and Lines shows that the publisher isn't letting up on its Xbox for Windows Phone mission.
