It's been a long time since the Windows Phone version of The Sims FreePlay has received an update, but that changed today with a huge content upgrade for the free-to-play people sim game from Electronic Arts. In fact, you could say that this is a "royal" update for the game.
Here's a look at the change log for The Sims FreePlay:
A magnificent castle has appeared in our latest update! Only your Sims can lift the curse upon it and become the king or queen. The adventure begins at level 14+.
- Open the gates to a majestic Castle!
- Take the throne as the queen or king!
- Welcome pet fairies to your family.
- Hit a bullseye in the new archery hobby.
- Entertain royalty as a hilarious Jester.
- Ascend to the throne room to issue decrees!
- Dress in gorgeous royal attire!
The game's developer Firemonkeys also announced today that "as of The Royalty Update, Windows Phone 8 will be actively supported for The Sims FreePlay!" So we can expect to see even more updates for the game in the future, which is good news for Windows Phone users.
