You're Fired! These are two words you really don't want to hear from your boss. It's also the title of a ridiculous game on Windows Phone that you probably shouldn't play in front of a disgruntled coworker. You play as Jerry Canned who wants to burn down the office after being fired. It's essentially an endless runner. Run as far as you can with gas containers without tripping into desks, fans, or drawers. It's a free game, so there's no harm in trying it out.
Controls are simple. Jerry Canned runs automatically towards the right. Tap the screen to jump. The longer you touch the screen, the higher Jerry jumps.
The score reflects how much damage you've caused. The farther you run, the more damage is caused. The damage turns into currency you can use to buy power-ups. You can buy coffee, shield, and the molotov. Here's what they can do:
- Coffee makes you better, faster, and more invulnerable
- Shield burns up the next obstacle you hit
- Molotov sends a blast ahead to destroy obstacles
There are other power-ups that can be purchased with real money:
- Revive x10: Keep on going after you crash. ($0.99)
- Get $10,000 in game currency. ($0.99)
- Unlock all costumes and 5 of each power-up. ($2.99)
You can also change Jerry's costume if you get bored with the default one. The Zombie Jerry costume is free, but the rest costs game currency. There are also side missions to keep you interested. For example, one mission is to collect 50 gas cans in one run. Completing this mission earns you $200.
