We already knew that work is well under way on Destiny's next two expansions, but it looks like Bungie is already hard at work on a full sequel to the sci-fi shooter. Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg revealed the news today during a post-earnings financial call.
In addition to news of a forthcoming sequel, Activision also reported today that Destiny currently sports 9.5 million registered users. Not much else was gleaned from the conversation, but the news isn't all that surprising as Bungie has been quoted as saying that it fully expects the franchise have a lifespan of 10-plus years.
