The 2013 PC reboot of 3D Realms' classic 1997 first person shooter Shadow Warrior will be heading to the Xbox One, in both retail and digital form, on October 21 for $39.99
The revamped version of the FPS was developed by Flying Wild Hog and will be published by Devolver Digital. Both this game and the 1997 version center on Lo Wang, who has to battle Asian-themed monsters and demons with a number of weapons, including his favorite, the katana.
For the Xbox One version of the single player Shadow Warrior, Flying Wild Hog will offer gamers better graphics compared to the PC port. It will also contain some new and exclusive content:
- A new Arena mode where Lo Wang faces off against waves of enemies in three custom-designed environments
- All-new campaign content featuring the head of the nefarious Zilla Corporation
- Exclusive weapons including the sledgehammer from Serious Sam 3, the katana from Hotline Miami, the 'Zilla Enterprises Z45 katana' and 'classic Shadow Warrior katana'
Will you go old school and play Shadow Warrior on your Xbox One?
